I think the import should not be stopped as our local manufacturers are failed to fulfill customers needs both in terms of quality and delivery, as of now they are just playing with customer with free hand there is no check on them, they are delivering very poor quality vehicles and charging excessively, if we compare imported cars both in quality and price with local vehicles, our locally manufactured cars are rubbish infect piece of shit, at the time of booking a car our local manufacturers charges full amount of the car and give delivery after a year or so and even that is not confirm, what is this ? if you can not give me the car instantly then why are u charging full amount, they should take a token of say one or two hundred thousand and book a car and rest should be paid at the time of delivery other wise they should give the customer the benefit of his/her money which have been used by the company, furthermore if some one wants to avoid the booking process and wants to get a car from the ready stock then the position of the market is such that one have to pay hundred to hundred fifty thousand extra, why? One can not find a thing like this in the whole world this is unique thing which prevails in our dear motherland and it is because multinationals have been given free hand to cheat and loot people. Now when we are getting something our money’s worth they feels threatened their investment is in danger but when they are looting the people and playing with them then they are not bothered. I think by keeping import open will create a competition and local manufactures will be forced to change their looting policy and will have to improve the quality and reduce the unjust prices.
