Up Front
New CTS-V Coupe has worked as a departure for Cadillac. The roof line, the big air vent under the front grille, severely raked windshield, the sculpted brake light that works as cum-rear-spoiler in the back of the car, and brake calipers with yellow Brembo all gives an excellent performance and it does not work further like the boaty Caddies of the past.
It also does not disappoint you in sliding behind. The car can jump from 0 to 60 in 3.9 seconds astonishingly. There is a slight difference in its speed than super cars like Mercedes, Ferrari and Chevy Corvette. But it is a great fact that Vcoupe is faster than MBW’s M3 coupe that accelerates from 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds with a stick shift of 4.7 seconds.
The reason is that all the CTS-Vs have the most powerful engine Cadiallac that are not offered in production cars. The engine has a super charged 556 horsepower V8 that results to generate 551 lb.-ft. of torque, with 6.2 liter. It has the same engine of Corvette ZR. The CTS-V also comes in stick shift of six speed and heavy racing seats are also available in the car.
The car is not so fuel efficient. It is rated to use per gallon 14 miles in the city and 19 on the highway. The ratio is a little worse than BMW M3 coupe that is rated 14/20.
Behind the Wheel
The CTS coupe is matchless in quickness of its rivals such as the Nissan's Infiniti G37 and BMW 335i. The CTS cope is free of such problems. A common car can not match to its rare speed. You can drive confidentally on the road with the road thinking that you will easily accelerate your own way in the case of any driving problem.
he regular, V6-powered CTS Coupe can't match the quickness of rivals such as the BMW 335i and Nissan's Infiniti G37. The CTS-V Coupe has no such problem. Except for much pricier super cars like the ones mentioned above, virtually nothing on the road can match its raw speed. You can pull out in front of oncoming traffic with absolute confidence that you will be able to accelerate your way out of trouble. When taking off after stopping at a light, it's hard not to squeal the tires. But it is less impressive on hill stations than other pricier cars. The BMWs and Mercedes give you more confidence in the driving of hill station. But the tires of the car work well and help to maintain better pressure on the way. In routine driving V coupe is remarkably good with automatic transmission.
The dashboard and center- console have no difference as compare to regular CTS that carries leather and navigation screen and temperature gauge. The Cadillac is wider but its cabin is less wide than other cars like BMW M3 and Audi S4.
The rear seats are designed for two passengers and have confined space even for legs of heighted persons. The side windows of the car are very narrow and the outside mirror is also not helpful for driver during its turn but the back up camera helps a lot in this way. Visibility is much limited in the car. The seats can also be fold down for the cargo space. It is also packed with standard equipment, including satellite radio, navigation systems, heated and powered front seats, , a backup camera, adaptive headlights with washers and magnetic ride control.
In short if you are looking for a luxury car then it is a good one to buy. Not a single car can match its speed and features in the offering price of the car.
