i want to know the Duplicate doucments cars value in the market, becs i m going to buy a suzuki cultus 2007,at the name of Bank, after bidding i m eligible to purchase tht car in just 530k, as bank said,all the responsibly abt the documents and other libaiites of bank, so should i purchase this or not , plz guide me friends , urgent Response Required

Duplicate book makes difference but the reality is that a car with duplicate book is 100% confirmed and genuine as a duplicate book is made after a lot of verifications from the Exise and Taxation office. So a car that has a duplicate book has no problem at all in terms of its ownership or theft reporting.
Secondly, its hard to sell a car with duplicate book, it normally decrease the value of the car by 20,000 rupess. So if you deem car condition fit but is with duplicate book and you wish to buy this car for personal needs not for business then its recommended to purchase but if you are looking to buy the car and have some plans to sell it in near future then you may first reduce its price by at least 20,000 rupees for that duplicate book. Thats what market will charge you for duplicate docs.

Cars wid duplicate books have no resale value.Its very hard to sell a car wid duplicate book.its like keeping white elephant.So better refrain to buy this type of car.IF U STILL WANT TO JUMP IN THE WELL then decision is yours.

I would not recommend at all that you purchase the cultus with duplicate docs, and that also at this much high price. It might look like you are getting the car for a little less than market value, but the real headache will start once you will go out in the market to sell it. People are always suspicious of duplicate documents. You will have to just throw it in the market at much lesser price. Not recommended at all.
