These are the first official pictures of the all-new Ford Ka. It's taken Ford 12 years to come up with a replacement for the original, and it will be unveiled the public for the first time at this 2008 October's Paris Motor Show.
The new Ka undoubtedly has very tough act to follow. Ford amazingly sold over 1.4 million of the first version subsequent to its own Paris Motor Show launch in 1996, and over 490,000 of those went to homes in the alone.
This is far from being bad news, however, as it means the Ka is likely to benefit from some modern power train development for the first time in its production life. It features 1.3- and 1.6-litre engines have gone for good, likely to be replaced by Fiat's modern 1.2 and 1.4 patrols.
