Featuring for its light weight, zingy engines and sharp handling, the new Mazda 2 has been a huge critical success. Now it is expanding the range to include a three-door version, the first time it has done so on its super mini.
The sportier three-door body must surely provide the ideal basis for a hot hatch version too, perhaps along the lines of the Mazda speed concept shown at the Tokyo Auto Salon.
